History

A community rich in history

Named after Ellen Stirling, the wife of WA’s first Governor, Captain James Stirling, Ellenbrook is a development steeped in history.

Each of Ellenbrook’s villages have their own unique theming, which is integrated into the house design and the landscaping. Charlotte's Vineyard and Annie's Landing are both themed on early settlement in the Swan and Avon Valleys.

The town centre is also divided into precincts, each taking its name from references to early WA history.
