WA’s 80sqm lots under construction

The lots, which start in size from 80m2, have been created by LWP Property Group and Department of Communities. Following an extensive approval process, the lots are the latest in a long line of innovations that have seen Ellenbrook win 37 national and international awards for excellence in design, community planning, sustainability and housing diversity.

Just 11 homes are being constructed in the Reveley precinct of the Ellenbrook Town Centre and will feature a range of two bedroom homes, which Now Living will commence building.

Mr Danny Murphy, Managing Director for LWP Property Group, said the lots were located in the heart of the Ellenbrook Town Centre, within easy reach of open space, parks, office and retail facilities, public transport and schools.

“The location of the lots is paramount. We wanted to ensure that they were walking distance to amenities,” he said.

Troy Gorton, Executive General Manager from Now Living, who have partnered with LWP Property Group and the Department of Communities to build the new homes, said their designs for the homes have been designed to suit today’s market.

“We focused on innovation in design, incorporating design ideas that would increase useable space and address modern living preferences, such as open plan living, multi-purpose rooms and each home including a private courtyard and balcony,” Troy said.

The area of the homes ranges from 127sqm – 157sqm over two stories and Troy said the innovative design ideas aim to redefine what can be used as living space.

“We have designed spaces including clever indoor/outdoor living zones such as courtyards and balconies adjoining internal living areas. The ability to open up an internal room and have it adjoin the external space, creates a feeling of spaciousness and increased ventilation flow,” Troy said.

“Focus has also been placed on harnessing natural light, which in conjunction with high ceilings and strategically chosen internal colour palettes, also emphasises a large, open feel,” he added.

Each of the 11 homes has been designed to suit the lot, with a strong focus on Built Form product, maximising street presence and aesthetics. The home are due to be launched this year.
